I've taken the training. Why is my account on listed here?

We did our best to match any shortened names with user’s complete names (for example Brad vs Bradley) but there may be users who completed the training and did not have it recorded to their Shop@UW account.

There are also cases where the email address listed on the account does not belong to the primary contact. You may have received our training reminders on behalf of another individual if this is how your account is set-up.

If you believe your account should not be on hold, please contact Shop@UW customer service at shopuw@bussvc.wisc.edu or 608-497-4400.

What does a hold on my account affect?

The hold prevents users from accessing the account entirely, meaning no ability to browse or make purchases and no purchase information can be reviewed. This includes access to the account through a parent account.

How can I get the hold removed from my account?

In order to remove the hold from your account, the Primary Account Contact listed on the account must complete the mandatory online Shop@UW user training.

Why do I have to take the training?

The Primary Contact training requirement was implemented as part of our 3rd Phase of internal control changes for Shop@UW.

How can I update the Primary Account Contact on an account?

Please visit our Account Setup or Revision page to locate the appropriate form for your campus to submit your request. Your request will require proper approval before it can be processed by Shop@UW Customer Service.
